A mixture of heavy procrastination, lack of internet access, numerous errands and sheer laziness is my excuse for the inactive blogging.
It's been more than a month since classes begin. I guess you can say that everything is under control. The first few weeks are always hell, but not academically of course. The tedious rush of switching off your summer mode in the midst of unpacking, settling fees, adapting to new styles of professors and catching up with friends are constantly running through your mind. And to those who endured the hassle of load rev-ing (thanks to a class that got dissolved at the class minute :|) in Ateneo, I sincerely hope they can revamp the process to make it less stressful.
The creative juices aren't flowing just yet to write a g article, so I'll focus on reactivating my new blog. As much as I hate it, I guess working under pressure simply works for me.
In the meantime, I'll just have to distract myself with meaningless stalking and skimming through readings half-heartedly while the constant reminder that the deadline is just ** hours away is closeted at the back of my mind (temporarily of course).
So in the meantime, I'll just share traits I hope to maintain by the end of junior year.

• Active Heart - Since junior year is going to be pretty laidback with less number of units, I'll probably focus more on the g and Externals for now. Being inactive in orgs was so two years ago :) That and planning for the dorm's IAC party.
• Love, love, love - Honestly, I don't really like to share this aspect of my life through my blog but so far, it's so much fun to be single. I love hanging out with my girlfriends and being focused on my personal goals. I know my dad will breath a sigh of relief when I say this but, boys can always wait :)
• Resist! - I have to constantly remind myself that I'm saving up for something highly rewarding. It will be a test of real budgeting this time and not having to constantly rely on my parents. No more giving in to those impulsive excuses of 'I'll eat canned foods for the rest of the week' and 'I really really need this!'. Current mantra - Buyer's remorse is the worst enemy.
